Win Dark Deceptions

Thanks to Anna at Hachette Books, we have 5 (five) copies of Dark Deceptions by Dee Davis to give away.   This is a Forever novel, just released on April 1, 2010, and rated as a 4-star book at Amazon.   Here is a quick synopsis:

Covert operations expert Nash Brennon has spent the last eight years trying to forget Annie Gallagher, his former field partner and the only woman he has ever loved.   Annie betrayed him when he needed her the most, then vanished without a trace.   Now suddenly she’s back in the game – as a suspected traitor and threat to the national security.

Annie’s son has been kidnapped by political terrorists.   The price for his life?   The assassination of a U.N. ambassador.

This is a unique suspense romance thriller.   “…(a) page turning, white knuckle, romantic thriller.”   ReadertoReader.com

  1. my first entry, I am excited I love books!
My second entry – I love the idea of “e-books” I have the Kindle and B&N readers on my iPod Touch and laptop. This works well when I have my laptop, but doesn’t work well outside due to glare. The iPod touch is OK for short reading but is too tiny for a long reading session. I have been considering a physical device. The kindle software is impressive and features and nice, but the physical feel of the device is awkward. The sony reader and nook are both nice physically but inferior from a features and software standpoint. I am currently debating beween the nook and sony reader as a splurge to myself as I do love to read and carrying hardbacks around is heavy and space consuming.

I believe digital e-books are here to stayand will put traditional publishing out to pasture. My son has a Kindle and it is impressive, but after having test driven (read) on the I Pad…well ’nuff said!

I think I will stick with the old fashioned book!
I like to lay back comfortably with my book; I like to see my progress via my bookmark, and I like to slam the cover when I am finished. But…I may change my mind at some point!
